Panionios have the lead

Panionios are doing better lately. They may had a bad start due to their difficult schedule in the first rounds (they played against PAOK, AEK and Olympiakos), but now they proved they deserve more. They registered a 3-0 win against Panetolikos and then an important away win (0-1) against Xanthi at 'Pigadia'. That win boosted team's moral and gave them valuable points. Midfielder Masouras is on his best. He has already scored 4 times in this Superleague. Olympiakos signed him, he will be eligible to play for them on January 1st. Injured Korbos and Manthatis won't be on the contention of the 57 years old manager Jose Anigo, as well as Srđan Spiridonović who isn't ready yet.

Lamia remain undefeated in their recent 7 games in the League. They won 3-2 vs Levadiakos and then they drew with Pas Giannina in Zosimades. They also drew 0-0 with Asteras Tripolis in home, before the international break. Now they have four more points from the relegation zone. Wanderson and Marko Blažić are suspended and that's a problem for team's coach Makis Chavos. On the contrary, goalkeeper Bojan Šaranov is back again.

Team from Nea Smirni have the upper hand in home against Lamia, who will perform without their two most important players. Home win is my call.
