Panionios on the battle for the Greek Cup

Panionios may have registered many negative results having and just a single win their last 7 games, however their schedule was difficult, actually the 6 of them were away from home. This fact can explain these results, but it has also to be considered that their performances on the road are not the best ones. Beyond that, they managed to drew 1-1 in Giannina in the first leg and so tonight they are the favourites to qualify to the next stage of the Greek Cup, a competition they've always been interested in and have many distinctions. Panionios are doing great in away games and they've been defeated only twice this season (vs PAOK and Olympiakos). Another win which leads to the qualification is a possibility.

On the other hand John Petrakis' team disappoint with their performances and results lately. Especially away from home where they suffered 8 losses in 10 games. Now they fight to stay away from the relegation zone and a participation in the Cup is almost an excess.

In my point of view, home factor combined to Panionios' history in the Grrek Cup and the fact that Giannina are weak in away games are driving me to bet on home win. Ranionios to win is my call.
