PAOK vs AEK Match Preview

PAOK is coming from a goalless draw in the previous round against Panathinaikos. Their performance was below average and failed to find the back of the net. Pablo Garcia chose a tactic similar to Abel Fereira's in the last year's playoffs for PAOK, having 3 defenders instead of 4 in the back, with the formation of 3-4-2-1.

PAOK had quite a lot of changes in that game that made them unable to create any decent threat in front of their opponent's defense. Panathinaikos had some big goal-scoring chances in the last minutes of the match but failed to find the winner. El Kadouri, who is a key player for PAOK, is missing once again due to injury.

AEK, on the other hand, suffered a 2-0 defeat on the road to the league leaders, Olympiacos. In the first half, AEK managed to keep a clean sheet, holding the opponent's attackers outside of the box. However, in the last 30 minutes of the game, Olympiacos made some changes with Bruma and El Arabi entering the pitch and won easily by scoring two goals.

Livai Garcia will be the only missing for AEK here.

Both sides had a pretty average campaign this season, but I think PAOK is slightly better. After their 0-1 win in the first match, PAOK has a good lead on the table but considering the offered odds, AEK are the favorites here. A bet at the away side is my final call for this one, AEK is able to hold the +1,5 Asian Handicap.
