PAS Giannina vs Olympiacos Match Preview

PAS Gannina faces Olympiacos in this first leg of the Greek Cup semi-finals.

The hosts made it through the semi-finals by prevailing over Panathinaikos in the previous round. Despite being the underdogs in this matchup, they won both matches and deservedly qualified to the next round. Actually, this is the third time in their history to make it through the semi-finals of the Greek Cup.

In the domestic league, PAS Giannina plays the last few rounds of the play-outs without any stress on their shoulders as their difference is huge from the relegation zone. In the most recent game, they suffered a 2-1 defeat against OFI, putting an end to their unbeaten streak of 5 games.

Olympiacos, on the other hand, struggled a bit to qualify against strong Aris, after a 2-1 home win and a draw 1-1 on the road.
