PO Triglia vs Ionikos Match Preview

With a possible victory over Triglia, Ionikos can secure their promotion in next season's Super League 2. 

After the defeat of Ierapetra from Trikala, Ionikos is the favorite for the 2nd place in the Football League. In order to achieve that, they have to maintain their great performance and avoid any false steps.

The following matchs will be decisive for Ionikos. At the moment they have a 4-point difference from Kavala and one way or another, they will try to take the all three points in order to keep this lead. (At the same time Kavala host Niki Volou.)

Triglia, on the other hand, are looking for a miracle to remain in the Football League and with their current form, combined with the recent performances, things look doubtful for them. In the previous round thay shared points with Volos (2-2), but before that, they had 6 matches without scoring a single goal and 5 consecutive defeats.

Essentially the only goal for Triglia in this match is to win, as even a draw could lead to relegation. 

HT/FT 2-2 is my call. The quality difference between these two sides is huge and the fact is that the hosts are not eager to play defensively. Since they target for all three points, they will get into the pitch aggressive in order to take an early lead on the game.
