Poland vs Netherlands Match Preview

Poland host the Netherlands in the fifth matchday of the fourth group for the first division of the Nations League at the National Stadium in Warsaw.

The hosts had two defeats against Belgium, a win against Wales and a 2-2 draw with the Netherlands away from home in their first four games in June. With the exception of the most recent match where they were beaten 0-1 by the Belgians, the hosts have scored in the previous ones and have conceded in all of them. They've scored five goals and conceded ten in four games, so with Lewandowski in top form it's very likely they'll score.

The visitors, on the other hand, are in first place in the group with ten points, three more than the Belgians, but in all three victories they achieved, they failed to keep a clean sheet. In total, they scored eleven goals in four matches and conceded six, a fact that shows their ability to score but also their defensive weaknesses. Van Dijk is far from his best self which will probably create defensive problems for them, but offensively the "Oranje" usually have the solutions.

In conclusion, I think both teams have the potential to score at least one goal each and I will bet 4 points on this eventuality which is priced at a match-high 1.75.
