Portugal vs FYR Macedonia Match Preview

Portugal will be playing against FYR Macedonia in this last qualifying match for the World Cup 2022 that will take place at Qatar later this year, in November and December. This match will take place at Estadio de Dragao in Porto and it will be refereed by Anthony Taylor from England.

The hosts managed to win against Turkey in a really interesting match that could have ended on a draw if Yilmaz had scored the penalty kick. That match ended with the win of Portugal by the score of 3:1 and secured them a spot in the final of the playoffs against FYR Macedonia.

The latter managed to cause the biggest upset of this qualifying campaign as they beat 0:1 the European Champions, Italy, with a very late goal scored by Trajkovsky. 

Player to watch for the hosts: C. Ronaldo, who has been superb for his side in the qualifiers for World Cup 2022 with 6 goals scored in 8 matches.

Player to watch for the visitors: Trajkovski, who has scored 5 goals in 10 matches for his side.

I think that here Portugal could win by the score of 3:1 as they have the better squad overall!
