Quality and goals

Uruguay toped easily the first group, registering three wins in three games. Hosts Russia were second, South Arabia and Egypt were eliminated. At last '16' they won 2-1 European Champions Portugal. Uruguay are a team that have two pretty talented and full of quality attackers, Cavani and Suarez. But their real advantage are their defenders Godin, Varela, Gimenez and Caceres. The coach of 'selecte', Oscar Tabarez has managed to make a physical team with homogeneity that can make them dream for even more than a spot in last '8' of the tournament.

On the other hand, Didier Deschamp's team qualified after two wins (2-1) Australia and (1-0) Peru and one 'friendly' draw vs Denmark. They have many qualitative players in their team. At last '16' they beat 4-3 Argentina in one of the best games of the tournament. Kylian Mbappe had an impressive performance, toyed Argentina's defence, won a penalty and scored two goals. Deschamp has to cope without midfielder Matuidi who is suspended, Griezmann, Mbappe and Giroud will start for one more time in the offensive final third.

Both teams have qualitative and experienced players. I am expecting a game with three or more goals, equal to the teams' history and reputation.
