Rangers vs Liverpool Match Preview

Rangers hosts Liverpool at Ibrox in a very interesting game where the atmosphere will be excellent.

This season is the first back in the Champions League for Rangers after a long time and they participate in a really tough group with Ajax, Napoli, and Liverpool. Currently, they are without goals and without any points and they are also going to have a hard time in this match.

Liverpool is struggling this season but still, they are not totally out of form. In this group, they lost to Napoli and they must win this match in order to be able to qualify for the knockout phase. Napoli is currently with maximum points in this group and they are probably the team that will qualify while Liverpool will have to fight with Ajax for the second spot.

Rangers is not playing well this season, not only in the UEFA Champions League but also in Scotland. They are struggling to score goals and I expect that they will face the same problem against Liverpool, actually, the English team is level above them in any sense. Also, Liverpool returned back to 4-4-2 formation and that game against Rangers was their first without allowing a goal after a long time. I believe their defense will remain stable and that Rangers will not be able to score again a goal here.
