Rangers vs Slavia Prague Match Preview

Glasgow Rangers welcomes Slavia Prague in this second leg of the last 16 of the Europa League competition. The first leg played a week ago ended in a draw 1-1, and in case that the same score is repeated here, extra time and penalties shootout will follow to determine the winner.

After an almost impeccable campaign in the domestic league this year, the Rangers will try to go as far as possible in the Europa League competition to complete a successful season. They have a difficult task in front of them here, but even with a 1-0 win, they could qualify to the quarter-finals of the competition.

Slavia Prague, on the other hand, failed to reach victory in the first leg, but still, they have decent chances against Rangers to take the qualification for the next round of the competition. They are totally dominating in the Checzh First League this season, sitting at the 1st spot of the standings totaling 61 points, 14 points ahead of second-placed Sparta Prague.

The first leg was a quite close affair, however, I think Slavia Prague will not have an easy task here. Glasgow Rangers has a very strong side this season and I think they'll not waste such an opportunity to reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
