Ready to make history

LASK Linz made a huge upset in the first leg, winning 2-1 over Basel in Switzerland. Even if it was their first-ever match for the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, the Austrians were impressive and they won deservedly. They had more final attempts than the home team and even if they conceded in the dying minutes of the game, they have the upper hand for a place in the play-offs of the competition. A win or a draw is acceptable tonight for LASK Linz to make history as it will be their first-ever attempt to enter the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Basel disappointed in the first leg, after their home loss they are clearly the underdogs tonight. They scored a goal in the dying minutes, however, their qualification is still a hell of a task. This unlucky outcome brought back the grumblings in the locker rooms, as their qualification vs PSV in the previous round was only a short interval. Now Basel are in a very bad way, they look only for a win with a two or more goal-difference. 

Tonight is a great challenge for LASK Linz. On the other hand, Basel have no other choice than playing aggressively for the very first minutes of the game. Another open game is expected tonight, both teams score and concede with ease. Over 2.5 goals is my call.
