Real Madrid - Barcelona Match Preview

Real Madrid and Barcelona are going to play in this 'el Classico' in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals.

Real Madrid got only a point in their last match against Atletico Madrid. However, they were lucky because Barcelona lost to Almeria and now they will have another opportunity to demoralize Barcelona if they can win this match. At Bernabeu, they should be able to win this match especially if they play as they played against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League some nights ago. Currently, they are playing well and in front of their home fans, Real Madrid is the favorite to win this first leg and get a good result ahead of the second game.

Barcelona lost their last league game against Almeria which is a big disappointment for them. They are now in a mini-crisis as they lost to Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League as well. They are now 7 points ahead of Real Madrid in La Liga. It will be tough to win the title but they are in a good position. For this match, they will be without their best player and leading scorer Robert Lewandowski which can be an issue as recently they struggled to score goals.

This is the Copa Del Rey semi-final, an important match for both sides. Real Madrid is playing the first game at home and they are tough to beat at Santiago Bernabeu. Barcelona will miss some players in this match so it is a big opportunity for Real Madrid in this match and I don't think they will lose in this home game.
