Real Madrid hosts Rayo Vallecano at Santiago Bernabeu in this Spanish La Liga match.

Real Madrid lost to Valencia in their last match and that was their second consecutive loss after losing to Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League semifinal. This is also the second match in a row in which Real Madrid failed to score a single goal and that task will be even harder in this match because Vinicius got a red card against Valencia and he will be suspended. Real Madrid is in third place right now and their only target in the remaining matches is to end up above 2nd-placed Atletico Madrid.

Rayo Vallecano is in the middle of the table and they had a solid season. They won some important matches for them and it will be interesting to see how they will play next season because they will be without a few important players like Fran Garcia who will return back to Real Madrid. They lost in 3 out of the last 4 matches and their form is not that good. In the first part of the season, Rayo won against Real Madrid.

Real Madrid failed to win in their last two matches and they will look to improve in this one. They will play at home and in front of their fans they have an extra motivation to get back to winning ways finishing this season on a high note after some disappointing results.
