Real Madrid vs Club Brugge Match Preview

Real Madrid needs to forget about that disappointing 3-0 loss against PSG and remind themselves this is their favorite competition when they host Club Brugge. That is why I expect a fully motivated Real Madrid team playing in front of their fans. Qualifying from this group should not be a problem for them, despite the loss in the first game, but if they want to compete for the first place until the next game against PSG they need to win them all. It is true Real Madrid has not been shinning this season and even got some surprising results.

But this is the Champions League and I see Eden Hazard is finally gaining his best shape. I fancy him to score in this game, but also the youngsters Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo are playing too good right now.  The only sure absence will be Asensio while Mendy, Marcelo, Isco and Diaz are listed as doubtful.

Club Brugge, on the other side, started their campaign with a 0-0 draw at home against Galatasaray and honestly, it was not a good performance by them. Galatasaray had more possession of the ball and they had the same amount of chances to score. When they could not beat Galatasaray at home and put that performance, I really do not think Club Brugge can show us anything on the road against a team like Real Madrid. And a thing that makes it even harder for them is the fact that Real Madrid comes after a loss and they won't accept another false step.

In conclusion, I think Real Madrid can win this match and cover -1.5 goals Asian handicap. They are just way better than their rivals and will come hungry enough to aim just for the three points.
