Real Madrid vs Mallorca Match Preview

Real Madrid is going to host Mallorca in their Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in gameweek five of Spanish La Liga.

Real Madrid won at midweek against Celtic in Scotland. It was their first game after the European Super Cup without conceding a goal. They looked especially good in the second half. Benzema is injured and that will be a problem for Real Madrid but the other ones are ready and this could be enough as they have a big squad.

Mallorca, on the other hand, started the season really well. They have only one loss, that one against Betis, and one win and two draws. They scored four goals in four matches but in this match, they will have a really bigger challenge. Their attack is weak, actually, they had problems with scoring goals in preseason also.

Last season Mallorca got trashed in both matches against Real Madrid. In three out of the four most recent h2h matches, they have not scored a single goal. Mallorca has a lot of issues in attack and I believe that Real Madrid will not concede at their stadium as Ancelloti highlighted that they want to allow fewer goals.
