Relegation battle

Tondela took a really important point (2-2) under adverse weather conditions and a very heavy terrain vs Belenenses on the road. They were pretty lucky, as their opponent missed a penalty kick in the 81st finute of the game. Tondela now have 19 points, staying four points clear from the relegation zone. Veteran central defender Ricardo Costa served his suspension and will take his position in the starting eleven, however, another defender, Brazilian Icaro, is not yet 100% fit.

It was a crucial home three-pointer for Aves vs Setubal (2-1), an outcome that gave an end to their winless streak since last November. However they are still into the relegation zone, having one point less than safety. Coach A.Inácio, who has all his players available, insisted that is critical for his team to start collecting away points to achieve their goal staying in the Primeira Liga.

It is crucial battle for both teams in their battle to prolong their presence in the Primeira Liga. Tondela have a three-win streak in their home, all of them with the same score (2-1). However, Aves gave an end to their winless streak since A.Inácio took charge of the team and seem to have a brighter future in the league. Both teams have an offensive approach scoring with consistency; however they are not at all trustworthy in their defensive tasks. BTTS is my call in this relegation battle.
