Roma vs Juventus Match Preview

Roma is ranked at the fourth place with 35 points. They come after three wins a draw and a loss over the last five matches. When it seemed like Roma was becoming the fourth team to join the title race, they suffered a surprising setback last week against Torino at home and that complicated their situation. But it also showed once again how inconsistent this Roma team can get sometimes. Even though with Fonseca they try to play an offensive football so far it has been no where near to what the coach wants and what he showed back at Shakhtar. They will also struggle with a long list of absent players here as Kluivert, Mkhitaryan, Pastore, Santon and Zappacosta will all miss the duel.

Juventus, on the other hand, is ranked at the second spot, but with a golden chance to gain the first place and also create a two points distance from Inter after their draw against Atalanta. Since losing to Lazio, Juventus has won three matches in a row, where they scored nine goals and conceded just two. It seems the team has found the defensive solidity that characterizes them and tomorrow Demiral is expected to start again ahead of De Ligt. The only absent players will be Khedira and Bentancur. Cristiano Ronaldo is on fire having scored for five games in a row in Serie A and I would not be surprised if we see his name on the score sheet once again.

In conclusion, I think Juventus can win this match or get at least a draw. They will be more than 100% motivated to grab three points here and are in a very good shape to let this chance go. Roma has done well to climb up to the 4th place, but i do not see them doing any better than this this season.
