Roma will fight for their first win in this season's Serie A. Paulo Fonseca's team haven't registered a win in the first two rounds, despite the fact that they opened the scoreline in both games. Especially in the opening game against Genoa, they scored three goals but their opponent managed to level the game all three times and form the final 3-3. In the second round, they managed to have the lead against Lacio in Rome, but once again their opponent found the equalizer. Roma proved to have many defensive weaknesses in these games but they can also score with ease.

Sassuolo have registered a win and a loss so far. They suffered a 2-1 loss to Torino in their opening game on the road, actually, they could have got one point from the draw considering the opportunities they created. In the second round, they stroke back with an impressive 4-1 win over Sampdoria. Their performance is quite satisfying in total and their offensive approach is what makes the difference.
