There have been big improvements in their game and results, considering the team they used to be in the last season where they finished just 14th. Now they sit only three points behind the top-three spots but it is going to be a difficult task to climb higher than this.

These are not acceptable results for a team that aims for the top-three but the thing is they had to focus also on the AFC Champions League where they had an amazing group stage performance with five wins and a draw over six encounters.

Now they can focus again on the domestic league where they have scored 22 goals so far, while their best part is their defense with 13 goals conceded, actually, they are the second-best defensive side in the league. On the road, they are the team with the best performance until now with six wins three draws, and a single loss over ten matches played. That loss came against league leaders Kawasaki Frontale who have been dominating the league even this season.

In conclusion, I think Nagoya Grampus can win this match or get at least a draw out of it. Both teams have done pretty much the same so far but Nagoya is a more experienced side that has been playing at a high level for the past years. Sagan Tosu has been impressive this season but I do not see them winning this one despite playing at home.
