Salzburg - Austria Vienna Match Preview

In this match of the Austrian Bundesliga, Red Bull Salzburg will play against Austria Vienna. This will be the first round of the new season. Salzburg is once again the big favorite to win the title.

There is no doubt that Salzburg is the biggest club in the country. They have won the last match played against Austria by 5:0. They are the big favorites in this match as well, and I believe they will win. But your best bet would be on goals. Salzburg was not that impressive in friendlies. They lost a lot of games, but in everyone of them, at least three goals were scored.

Austria Vienna is a decent team. They have lost in nine out of ten most recent matches against Salzburg. But they had a fantastic preseason in which they recorded three wins and one draw in their last four games. In the cup, they won 7:0 against weak Wels a couple of days ago. 

Both teams are yet to be tested in a real match. I think that there will be a lot of mistakes, especially in defense and I expect some goals here. The last two matches between these two have gone over this margin.
