Sampdoria vs Juventus Match Preview

Sampdoria is ranked at the 16th place with 15 points, but still pretty close to the relegation zone. They come after winning the derby against Genoa, but watching the game I can say they got pretty lucky there, as Genova deserved at least a draw. And now they will have to face a team like Juventus. The big problem for Sampdoria this season has been a very poor offensive side and I think they made a mistake giving this much trust to 36yo Quagliarella. Only 13 goals in 16 games for them and I see it very difficult for them to score against Juventus with Bonucci-De Ligt in defense.

Juventus, on the other hand, is ranked at the second place, but has the same amount of points as Inter after they got just a draw in the last game, while Juventus beat Udinese 3-1. They were leading 3-0 since the first half and the goal for Udinese came in the 93rd min, actually, they never risked anything in that game. With the trio Dybala- Ronaldo - Higuain they are sure to be a threat for this inconsistent Sampdoria team. And in addition to that, Pjanic is back on the team after being suspended in the previous match.

In conclusion, I think Juventus can win this match. They are the better team and it seems Sarri has finally decided to go with the full offensive trio and we saw what they could do in the games against Bayer Leverkusen and Udinese. Now that they caught up with Inter, I doubt Juventus will flop in this game. Additionally, they need the win in this one, in order to go for the Supercup game in higher morale.
