Seattle Sounders vs Los Angeles Match Preview

In tonight's MLS game, Seattle Sounders face Los Angeles for the 12th round at Century Link Field. The match will be held behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Seattle put an end on their two consecutive losing streak with an amazing 7-1 home win over San Jose. They prevailed in the pitch from the beginning of the game and until the half-time, they had already created a five-goal lead. If Seattle had continued at the same pace in the second half, they would have probably scored a double-digit number of goals.

With this victory they reached second place in the standings, being only 2 points away from Sporting Kansas City, having one match played less than the league leaders. Raul Ruidiaz, Jordan Morris and Nicolas Lodeiro are in excellent condition.

On the other hand, Los Angeles are coming off a 4-2 victory in the previous round over Portland Timbers. They played some great football during the game, being superior than their opponents. The goals from Mark-Anthony Kaye, Diego Rossi, Bradley Wright-Phillips and Danny Musovski, gave them three valuable points.

After eleven games, they are sitting in the fifth place of the table, with 15 points in total. Their goal, of course, is to reach the top spot, from which they are not that far away. 

Both teams come from big wins and their motivation is at a peak. Both sides have great midfielders and attackers, so I expect to see many goals in this one.
