Seattle Sounders vs Minnesota Match Preview

Seattle Sounders face Minnesota in the MLS Cup final of the Western Conference. In case of a draw, extra time and penalty shoot-out will determine the winner. The match will be held behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The hosts did well in the semifinal, as they prevailed 1-0 over Dallas and got the qualification ticket. It was a rather close match and in the second half, they dominated scoring the winning goal. Earlier, in the quarter-finals, they had won 3-1 over Los Angeles.

Adrian Heath's team shows great stability on the pitch playing quality football and they deserved a spot in this final game. Nicolas Lodeiro is doing a great job with his assists while Raul Ruidiaz and Jordan Morris are scoring with ease.

On the other hand, Minnesota comes from a big win over Kansas City in the semi-finals. Kevin Molino, Robin Lod, and Emanuel Reynoso had an amazing performance and gave the qualification ticket to their team.

In the quarter-finals, they won 3-0 over Colorado Rapids. The excitement runs through both in the club and the players as this will be the first time for Minnesota in the MLS finals. Despite some long time missings, Adrian Heath's team face no significant problems in this crucial game.

Seattle Sounders has a lot of quality at this level, while for Minessota is already an achievement to be in this final. Both teams are strong on midfield and attack, so I expect to see some goals on this one.
