'Seleção' are favorites to prevail

For just a quarter at the beginning of the second half, Brazil were in trouble in the game against Serbia. However the second goal by Thiago Silva basically set the outcome of the match. Marcelo's injury is a problem for 'selecao', F.Luis is his substite. The right back Danilo is injured too and Fanger will be in the starting line up. Douglas Costa will be out, perhaps for the whole tournament. 

Mexico had an ideal opening game against Germany (1-0), while they made the right moves against S.Korea to get their second three pointer (2-1). However, their defeat from Sweden (3-0) could have end 'sombreros' journey in the tournament, if Germany weren't surprisingly defeated from S.Korea. Defender H.Moreno is suspended, besides this there aren't any other problems for J.Osorio's team.

Mexico are one of the teams who traditionally don't fear the Brazilians. History has shown that they can beat them, but I think that this is extremely difficult to happen this year in Russian World Cup. Neymar and Coutinho are getting better all the time. I think that Brazil will beat Mexico who seem to be close to elimination for the 7th consecutive World Cup at last '16'. The odds are fairly low as expected but how else could they be? Brazilians are Brazilians.
