Sevilla had an awful start to the season but they managed to get some wins after changing a couple of coaches and now they are in excellent form sitting in the middle of the table in La Liga. They still have the opportunity to catch the 7th position that gives a ticket to the Europa Conference League for the next season through the league but they also have the opportunity to secure a Champions League spot if they win the Europa League final against Roma. Sevilla is in excellent form with only 2 losses in the last 15 matches.

Real Madrid won their last match against Rayo Vallecano and after the draw of Atletico Madrid in their own match, Madrid is now back in 2nd position. Atletico Madrid is just 1 point behind so Real Madrid will need to win their remaining games until the end to secure that 2nd position. Vinicius Jr. should be back for Real Madrid in this game, he is really important for their attack. Benzema scored a goal against Vallecano and he will want to maybe catch Lewandowski for the Trofeo Pichichi

The most important thing in this match will be the fact that Sevilla is playing a crucial game four days later against Roma in the final of the UEFA Europa League and they will probably rest their best players.
