Slavia Mozyr vs Rukh Brest Match Preview

Slavia Mozyr welcome Rukh Brest for the last game of the Belarusian Vysshaya Liga, round 4.

Slavia Mozyr are enjoying a great start in the new season. After their loss 1-3 to Slusk in their opening game on the road, they continued with two wins for the Vysshaya Liga. In addition, in their midweek cup game their prevailed 1-0 over BATE for the semifinals, first leg. 

Forward D.Tetteh and midfielder A.Anufriev remain sidelined and are doubtful for Monday’s match. None of them has played in the midweek cup game

Newcomers Rukh Brest made an upset in their maiden Vysshaya Liga game, winning 1-0 Dinamo Minsk on the road. However, they couldn’t continue this trend, losing their next two league matches, without scoring a single goal. 

Forward Artem Petrenko sustained an injury in last round’s match against BATE and is doubtful here, as well as A.Rakhamov, who has not fully recovered from his recent injury.

Slavia Mozyr are in an excellent moment of form, having defeated both Dynamo Brest and BATE in a few days, the two most recent champions of Belarus. They are definitely favorites to win here, against a less quality team that have shown significant offensive weakness. The home win is my call, and I’ll grab it quite early, as I expect odds to drop as the day of the match approaches.
