Southampton – Wolves Match Preview

At Stadion St Mary's Southampton will host Wolves.

Southampton is one of the worst teams in the league right now. They are the bottom of the table and they are not playing good. Currently they are at 15 points from 21 matches and it will be hard for them to avoid relegation this season. They changed the manager but the new manager doesn't look that good at the moment. Also, they have one of the weakest squads in the Premier League. In last two matches they lost against Brentford and Aston Villa without scoring a goal. 

Wolves are playing good at the moment. They played good in the cup but Liverpool was better at the end. In the league they destroyed Liverpool in the last match and in last 4 matches in the league they have 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss. Since Lopetegui arrived they are playing better and got some valuable wins. They have some really good players like Neves, Sarabia, Semedo, Jose Sa and in my opinion they will easily avoid relegation this season.

Scoring goals is a big problem for Southampton and Wolves have a good defence since Lopetegui came. Southampton will probably be satisfied with a point in this match. Wolves are actually playing really good under Lopetegui and they should be able to leave St Mary's with atleast a point from this match. In first match this season Wolves won 1-0 and it could be something similar in this match.
