Spain vs Greece Match Preview

In the Nations League, Spain prevailed on their group, finishing 1st against teams like Germany, Ukraine, and Switzerland. In their last game and decisive game for the first spot, they won by an impressive 6-0 over Germany. Since the arrival of manager Louis Enrique, Spain have improved a lot and their roster contains young and quality players, with the most experienced player being De Gea, Bousquets and Sergio Ramos.

From what we've seen so far, Spain seems a very strong team. Although, they've been some ups and down to their performances which is understandable since most of their players are inexperienced.

Greece, on the other hand, finished 2nd in their group in the third division of the Nations League, playing against teams like Kosovo, Slovenia, and Moldova. They failed to finish at the first spot, but considering their performance in previous competitions, I think they made a good run. Truth is that most of their players are not in good form and I think that they will struggle a lot to qualify in the World Cup against teams like Spain, Sweeden, Kosovo, and Georgia. Their goal is to remain close to Sweeden and fight for a qualification ticket through the playoff games. 

Giannoulis' absence may be crucial here for Greece since he is in excellent form. Alkmaar's central defender, Xatzidiakos, will miss tonight's game as well, who is one of their key players in the last two years.
