Spartak Moscow are slightly superior

Spartak Moscow want PAOK to be penalized from UEFA, as they are complaining for attack at Russian journalists in the first game. In this way they aim to create a tension and that's what PAOK certainly don't want to happen, since this situtation could be profitable only for the hosts. In the first game, Spartak made a good start and got the lead of 2 goals quite early. On that point they believed they already gained the win and that's what PAOK took advantage. The Greek team managed to overturn the score from 0-2 to 3-2 in just 15', before the end the first half. In the second half Spartak tried to find a third goal, they also missed a penalty kick. If we exlude the duration from 29' to 45' where PAOK were really good, the rest of the time Spartak showed their superiority, even marginaly.

PAOK's performances so far are quite good, it's known that Greek teams strugle in the summer period. Despite the difficulties they faced in some Champions League games, at the end they were the winners. Still, it's a fact that in this replay game against Spartak things are going to be quite difficult for Greeks that lack rythm, since the Greek Super League starts ath the end of August.

After the 3-2 of the first match, a home win is the only option for Spartak. I am pretty sure that they will try hard for it, till the last minute to achieve it. They have got the quality to do so and I believe that with their fans' help they can do it.
