Sweden vs Serbia Match Preview

Sweden is ranked at 3rd place with three points and comes after a win and a loss so far. They started in the right way winning 2-0 against Slovenia but then suffered a surprising home loss against Norway. Considering how they played I think they deserved a draw and with a little bit of luck this time they can have a better result. After failing to qualify for the World Cup in the final stage they have got to focus on the Nations League now in order to try and secure a ticket for the next EURO.

They have a very good team with quality players like Forsberg, Isak, Kulusevski and Elanga. All of them are expected to play from the start here. Before the loss against Norway, they were on a five-game winning streak while at home.

Serbia, on the other hand, is ranked at 2nd place with three points too and comes after a win and a loss so far. They lost the opening game 0-1 against Norway at home but managed to bounce back right after that as they beat Slovenia 4-1. After a balanced first half, they totally dominated in the second half scoring three goals and claiming the three points.

These are going to be test games for them considering they are preparing for the World Cup, since they qualified directly and being the time after the end of the regular season I do not see a great desire from Serbian players.

In conclusion, I think Sweden can win this match or get at least a draw out of it. Like I said earlier they have always been performing well while in front of their fans. They lost just one of the last 15 home games and I fancy them to continue with a solid performance once again. Serbia on the road has struggled recently. They won only 6 of the last 15 duels while losing 3 and drawing another 6.
