Sydney have proved to be the favourites

Sydney passed through rough times in the end of the away game against Brisbane in the previous round,as their opponent missed a penalty and finaly Sydney won 2-1. That was their third concecutive win (they had already won 2-1 vs Perth Glory and 3-1 vs Wanderers). They are in the second place of the table, along with Melbourne Victory, having 3 points less than first-placed Perth Glory. Trent Buhagiar, Ben Warland, Chris Zuvela and Jop van der Linden are injured, while talented midfielder Daniel De Silva who belongs to Central Coast Mariners is not elligible to perform. New addition is Anthony Caceres, on loan from Manchester City. 

Central Coast Mariners reamain on the rock bottom of the table without a single win. They got only two points till now, from the draws (1-1) with Melbourne City and (1-1) with Brisbane Roar. Their most recent game is the home loss 1-4 vs Perth Glory, in the previous round. Goalkeeper Ben Kennedy and winger Tom Hiariej are back in starting eleven.

These two teams have taken totally different paths. Sydney have the lead in this local big clash. Low odds are reasonably offered in home win, I will choose Sydney's win with more than a goal difference.
