Sydney vs Central Coast Match Preview

Sydney take on Central Coast Mariners at Leichhardt Oval, for the 9th round of Australian A-League.

Another victory for Sydney over Brisbane Rovers with an impressive 5-1 score. They had absolute control in the field and after the 3-0 in the first half, the match was virtually over for the visitors. Sydney are currently placed in the 1st position of the table with 21 points, having scored 21 goals so far. The only thing that seems to worry the last season's champions is their defense, were they keep conceding at least one goal in each game.

The Mariners lost 2-0 against Brisbane Road, where they struggled enough, trying to find the opening goal of the game, but in the end, they suffered another defeat. Central Coast Mariners remain in the last position of the table with 7 points. They also have the worst offense in the league with just seven goals scored. Something must change dramatically in their team, otherwise, their presence at the top Australian league is doubtful.

There is a huge quality difference between these two teams, Sydney are definitely the favorites in this one. I expect an easy win for the home team with at least three goals difference.
