The first trophy in the new season

There are a lot of missings for ajax's manager Ten Hag, since Andre Onana, Noussair Mazraoui and Hakim Ziyech who performed at the recent Copa Africa aren't 100% fit yet. The 49yo coach prefers to start this one with the players he had during all the stages of the preparation as he expects that they can do it better. Last season's Ajax journey was quite successful, they almost reached the Champions League final and they also won both titles in the Netherlands since 2002. Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt were transferred to Barcelona and Juventus respectively. 

Eindhoven will perform with many important missings too, since Mark Van Bommel is going to rotate his team, compared to the first eleven that performed against Basel a few days ago, for the 2nd qualification round of Champions League. The crucial second leg against the Swiss side takes place on Tuesday and the Dutch coach would like to give a rest at many of his key players. As it is obvious, this game for the Dutch Super Cup is not a priority for the 'Red and Whites'.

Both teams have many important missings tonight, but definitely this final is not a priority for PSV, since they fight in the Champions League qualifiers in a couple of days. Ajax undoubtedly have the upper hand in this final.
