The game of the year!

Tottenham are coming from an impressive season, more than anyone could expect, and tonight they are fighting for the top European trophy for the first time in their history. To reach this final they made some great exploits in the previous stages. First, they beat Manchester City in the quarter-finals and then Ajax in the semi-final stage. The Dutches had won in the first leg at London (1-0), but the 'spurs' made the ultimate overturn in the second leg that took place in Amsterdam (3-2), scoring their winner at the dying seconds of the game. In the Premier League, they finished 4th and secured their participation in the next season's Champions League and that combined with todays's final is a really successful year for manager M.Pochettino and his players. 

Liverpool's season was great as well. They reached the big final of Champions League for a second consecutive year. In the semi-finals, an incredible overturn was needed after their big loss 3-0 in Barcelona. However, they played an impeccable second leg in Anfield and their huge 4-0 victory gave J.Klopp and his players the chance to contend for the trophy for a second consecutive season. In the Premier League, despite their successful journey and their record of points bagged, they finished 2nd, behind Manchester City and they lost the domestic title for another season.

This all-English final is between two teams that made a dreamy season. Liverpool have more quality and experience but no one can underestimate Tottenham and their excesses so far. Both teams can score easily and hopefully a spectacular final is expected. Over 2.5 goals is my call.
