The hosts have a clear advantage

Vitesse made an encouraging start in the new season. Their point vs champions Ajax in Arnhem (2-2) was followed by a win on the road over Willem II 2-0 last weekend. Their superiority was more than clear, they could actually have won with an even bigger goal difference. Midfielder Bazoer served his suspension and is available again, while there are no injuries reported for the home team. 

Zwolle got defeated in their home to Willem II 1-3, in their opening game for Eredivisie. This situation didn’t improve in their next game on the road to Utrecht, actually they suffered another loss, with the same result. In both games they opened the scoreline, but failed to be competitive as the game progressed, with clear defensive problems. Midfielder Harner is doubtful, while injured are Clement, van Crooij (forwards), van Duinen (midfielder), also defenders van Polen and Lam. The last four of them were key players for Zwolle in the previous season.

After two rounds played in the new season, Vitesse has a clear advantage to Zwolle. The away team seems to have many defensive problems and they are definitely impacted from their key players’ injuries. I expect that this would be an easy one for Vitesse and they will have a second consecutive comfortable win, covering the AH -1.5.
