The Copa Libertadores final second leg between River Plate and Boca Juniors is to be played in Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium, December 9th, Sunday.  Kick off is at 20:30 CET.

River Plate vs Boca Juniors second leg of Copa Libertadores final postponed, after an attack in the Boca Juniors team bus, by River Plate supporters. The game between the two fierce Argentine rivals will now take place on Sunday at 20:00 GMT in Buenos Aires, 24 hours later than originally scheduled.

Tonight is the most important Superclasico in history between River and Boca after the 2-2 draw in the first game. Lucas Pratto scored a goal in Bombonera while Izqiuerdos scored an own goal. Marcelo Gallardo is expected to play a 4-1-4-1 formation, as the return of the experienced midfielder Leonardo Ponzio is more than a help for the 42 years old manager and he will probably choose him from the very beginning. Santos Borre is suspended and Ignacio Scocco is still injured. In the League, they suffered a loss 1-0 from Estudiantes in the most recent game, actually, everything turns around this big final..  

Boca Juniors missed the chance to get the advantage for the second leg. Everything is possible after the 2-2 draw, since there the away goal rule doesn't count in the Copa Libertadores final. Abila and Dario Benedetto were the scorers and Benedetto missed a unique chance in the end to give his team the win. He is on a great form, actually he was the 'key player' for Boca vs Palmeiras in the semifinal games. Last Saturday they won 1-0 Patronato Parana with Cristian Espinoza's goal in a game for the League. Team's coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto chose an extensive rotation. Everyone's thought is on tonight's final against hateful River. Cristian Pavon had a muscle strain from the first game and is not in contention. One of the Mauro Zarate and Carlos Tevez will be his substitute. Coach Schelloto declared that 'We are ready to give our lives to win. We will give everything for this team'.

It's the 'mother of battles' in Monumental tonight, full of exciting vibes. It's a life or death game for both teams. I expect a difficult game, both teams are obliged to attack and give everything for the trophy. BTTS at 2.25 is my call.
