The 'Rams' go after the play offs

Derby didn't get what they want in Portman Road vs Ipswich in the previous round. Although the 'Rams' opened the scoreline before the 2nd minute of the match, they didn't manage to score once again to secure their win. In the beggining of the second half, their opponent equalized the game and Derby couldn't find the winner in the remaining minutes. Now they sit on the 7th place of the table, having two points less than the 6th-placed Bristol City who sit on the last play-off spot. Last the weekend, they suffered a 2-1 loss in Brighton and they were eliminated from the FA Cup. There is no good news about the injured C.Davies, C.Forsyth, M.Mount and T.Lawrence who will miss another match.

Millwall played a bore draw with Sheffield Wednesday. They were slightly superior than their opponent, but that wasn't enough to score a goal. This result placed them 20th on the table, just two points above the relegation zone. On Saturday's game for the FA Cup, Millwall registered an 1-0 win over Wimbledon, a team that perform in a lower league. Defenders C.McLaughlin and J.Meredith are still missing.

Derby need a win to return on playoffs spots and based on their performance this year, they are deserved favourites in this one. To be honest, I was expecting lower odds than the 2.06 offered on the home win, against a team who have registered only an away win in 15 games this season (1-4-10). Derby to win is my call.
