Their goal is to stay on top

Wolves got their third concecutive win last Saturday against Bournemouth (2-0) in their home. Now theyy are in the 8th place of the table, having 9 less points than 5th placed Arsenal, who keep the last European ticket on their hands. The truth is that Bournemouth were superior with a 62%-38% ball possession and more.final attempts (7-5) than their opponent, however Wolves were more effective and managed to score twice. Attacking midfielder Jota was injured and left the previous game in the halftime, so he won't perform tonight.

Liverpool were superior than Manchester United in the big clash. Altough their opponent equalized before the halftime, another goal from the 'Reds' it was only a matter of time. Swiss X.Shaqiri scored a brace when he entered the game as a substitute at the 70th minute. The final 3-1 proved exactly what was the game like (64%-36% possession of the ball, 22-5 final attempts and 13-2 corner kicks). That win kept Liverpool on the top of the table, having one point more than Manchester City. Defenders Gomez and Matip will be absent tonight due to their injuries. 

Wolves journey was quite satisfied in December. They have registered 3 wins in an equal number of games, but Liverpool's quality is more than clear. Klopp's team are unstoppable the last weeks and once they got to the top, they will target to keep their place till the end. Furthermore Liverpool have a 7-2-0 record away from Anfield, so anything but their win will be a huge surprise for me.
