They keep winning

Lille were competitive to PSG in their most difficult away game of the season. They resisted for one half, however, on the second half hosts upped their tempo and the quality difference was more than clear. However, the final 2-1 was a quite decent result for Lille, as the only that they managed is to score a goal in the dying minutes, having conceded earlier twice from  K.Mbappé and Neymar. After this result their winning streak came to an end and now they are in the second place having the same points Montpellier, 11 less than first-placed PSG. There are no injury worries for head coach C.Galtier who has all his players available.

Even if Strasbourg were the favorites in their home game vs Toulouse, they didn’t manage to take all the points. They were better than their opponent and controlled the game, however they couldn’t hold their lead. The final 1-1 kept their undefeated streak in the last five rounds of Ligue 1 and they remained on the 7th place having 4 points less than the European spots, but now there are two more teams having equal points. They do not count on A.Goncalves (midfielder) and I.Saadi (attacker), both of them are still injured.

I like Lille this season, a team that have taken all the points out of 6 games in Pierre-Mauroy for Ligue 1. I expect them to win one more, even they concede, Strasbourg are a team that has a decent squad and usually score on the road. Home win.
