They make the difference

Many upside-downs on home team's performance, but they are still close to the first group of Serie A. In the previous rounds, when they won 3-0 Napoli in home, they seemed to be ready for many successful results. However draws vs Fiorentina and Cagliari and a loss from Inter were quite average results. They made the come back in the last two rounds where they won Spal and Atalanta. Sampdoria are very strong in home and target this win to keep in touch with the Europian spots contenders..

Sassuolo's place on the table is quite good as they have 1 point less than their opponent. They can score easily, actually they've scored in all the games they played so far, except the most recent one in Napoli's home. On the other hand, their defensive line is weak as they've conceded 8 goals in 6 games. They will do their best for a positive result at this match, as they are coming from two losses in a row, vs Napoli and Milan.

The games of these two teams have mixed outcomes the previous seasons. Today Sampdoria seem to have the upper hand, based on home advantage and will try to take the lead in this second level'  group of  teams. Home win at 2.16 with a 5 points stake will be my call.
