They will risk it all

Finland's journey in this group is quite successful so far. After their loss in their opening game, they registered three wins in their following games, climbing in the second place, having 9 points so far. Given that top-placed Italy (12 points) are the undeniable favorites, this game against Greece is crucial for the hosts. If they win, they will leave clearly behind them a team who also fight for the second place, while they will have a clear qualification advantage.

Greece aren't doing well in this group. After their comfortable win over Liechtenstein in the first round, they played a draw and suffered two losses at the followed three games of the group. Now they have only four points and the qualification seems to be far away. Their home loss to Armenia at OAKA last June was the reason to sack Aggelos Anastasiadis. The Dutch J. Van‘t  Schip is the new coach of the Greek team. The away team can't afford to lose any points, only a win against Finland will keep alive their qualification hopes. On the contrary, one more loss will probably end the future of Greece in this group.

It's an important battle for the second place. In case that Finland win, they will keep their important qualification advantage, however, Greece need to risk it all. I expect both teams to have an offensive approach for the three-pointer so I will bet on over 2.5 goals at the juicy odds of 3.05.
