They will strike back

Panathinaikos played a 1-1 draw vs Lamia on the road last week. Their performance was quite disappointing, they didn't create much against the strong defense of the home team. Lamia were the ones who opened the scoreline at 20 minutes and the 'Greens' leveled just a quarter later from the penalty spot. Now they have to do their best to win in their first official game of the season in front of their fans.

OFI had a quite good start this season. They played a 1-1 draw vs Aris in Thessaloniki. They had the upper hand in the first half and were the first side that scored. However, they conceded in the last half of the game and that was the final score (1-1). Tonight it's another away game, and they hope again for a positive result.

Panathinaikos start was not the ideal. Their performance in their friendly games gave hopes for a better future than last year, but in their opening game they came down to earth. On the other hand, OFI were unexpectedly good and they managed to avoid a loss in a difficult home. I expect the hosts to strike back and get their first three-pointer, one way or another. Panathinaikos to win is my call.
