To make the overturn

Panathinaikos didn't register any wins so far in 2019. First they suffered a 1-0 loss vs Lamia in the first leg for the last 16 of the Greek Cup, then they drew 2-2 with Xanthi and they finally were defeated 1-0 vs Lamia in a game for the league. The Greek Cup is a way out for Panathinaikos this season and tonight G.Donis will choose their best starting eleven to perform. Captain D.Kouroumpelis and E.Insua are back, after their missing in the previous h2h match of the teams.

On Monday Lamia won 1-0 vs Panathinakos for the Greek Super League. This was the first three pointer for M.Xavos' team after longtime, 5 losses in a row without scoring a single goal was their previous bad run. Home team were slightly superior until the start of the second half, when J.Barrales opened the scoreline from the penalty spot. Panathinaikos were cleary superior since that point and they could have scored a goal too. M.Xavos didn't take many key players in the squad for this second leg, as the upcoming games for the Greek league are more important for his team. F.Bertoglio, J.Barrales, M.Blazic, D.Bejarano, Ε.Dimoutsos and first choice goalkeeper B.Saranov are not going to perform tonight.

After the result of the first leg, Panathinaikos have to win with two goals difference since any in other win for the home team (except the 1-0 who leads the game to extra time), Lamia will qualify to the quarter finals of the tournament. However, manager M.Xavos will play tonigh with a wide rotation. It's pretty clear that the upcoming league game vs Atromitos is more important for Lamia. Home win is on quite low odds, so I will prefer asian market. Panathinaikos to win with an asian handicap -1 will be my call.
