Toronto FC vs Vancouver Whitecaps Match Preview

Toronto face Vancouver Whitecaps for the 6th round of the American MLS, at the BMO Field. Currently, all matches are set to be played behind closed doors, due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Toronto managed to reach the last 16 of the MLS Cup, but their run ended, as they suffered a 1-3 defeat against New York City.

From now on, they must focus on the league and start getting positive results. After five rounds they've been played so far, they are placed 2nd in the standings, with 9 points in total, having 4 point less than league leaders, Columbus Crew.

On the other hand, Vancouver Whitecaps' performances in the cup, were disappointing. They may have qualified for the last 16 of the competition finishing third in their group, but their run ended in the first knock-out game against Kansas. Actually they paid their defensive mistakes.

Vancouver Whitecaps must improve and change things up in order to be more competitive against teams like Kansas.

Both sides play offensively, and considering the defensive gaps of the guests, I expect to see many goals on this game. Over 2,5 goals to be scored is my call for this one.
