Tottenham vs Leicester Match Preview

The 14th round of the English Premier League brings us the match between the 2nd placed Tottenham against the 4th placed Leicester.

In the previous round, Liverpool ended the extraordinary unbeaten streak of Spurs (7 wins, 3 draws) in all competitions with a late goal, scored by Roberto Firmino. Tottenham's deadly duo Kane and Son continue to be in excellent form and they are ready to fight for the title this season after many years.

After the memorable 2015-16 season, Leicester remains a top Premier League side, finishing in the first half of the table in all these years. Last season they failed to finish in the top-4 spots of the table, but still, they have quality in their roster, being able to reach the Champions League spot again this season. 

Tottenham has the upper hand to win here but I won't take the risk to predict the winner in this one. Six of their last seven h2h game had over 2.5 goals. These two sides are having quality players on the attack and score with ease, while none is impeccable back on their defense. Spurs have an average of 2.6 goals scored in their matches so far, while Leicester has 3.2 goals.

Over 2,5 goals to be scored is my call, based on what we've seen so far from these two sides, considering also that they have the best two strikers of the Premier League, Harry Kane (Tottenham) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester).
