Tottenham vs Man City Match Preview

Tottenham is ranked at the 8th place with 34 points. Things have not gone quite smooth for them, as they come after a single win, two draws and two loses over the last five matches. The injury of Harry Kane makes things worse, but they just signed Bergwijn from PSV, so he will add some power to their offensive side until Kane is back in action.

They have a good chance to shorten the distance with Chelsea for the 4th spot if they win here, so Mourinho will do his best to motivate his boys. At home they have won seven out of 12 games and scored at least a goal in nine occasions.

So I think lacking the needed motivation they might still win games, but not being fully focused especially in defense makes it difficult to keep clean sheet. We see they failed to keep a clean sheet in three of the last five matches, having played vs teams like Everton, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace which are ranked lower than Tottenham.

In conclusion, I think both teams can score a goal here. Tottenham will enter the pitch fully motivated to claim a win which they miss in their h2h gamed since back in 2016 in the Premier League. Man City has great offensive players who can score at anytime, so I expect them to continue their trend of high scoring games.
