Tottenham vs Sporting Match Preview

Tottenham will play against Sporting in the fifth round of the 4th group in the UEFA Champions League. 

Tottenham is at the top of the group and they have collected seven points. They are strong at home having won four out of the last five games played in front of their fans. 

Tottenham will be without Richarlison and Kulusevski as both are injured and Conte once again has to play a 3-5-2 formation instead of 4-3-3, therefore Kane and Son once again would be starting in attack. Midfielder Hojberg and defender Romero are questionable.

Sporting is one point behind Tottenham in this group. Their manager Umorim is linked to a move to Aston Villa but at the time his focus would be on this game.

Sporting will be without Braganca, Neto, and Pedro Gonzalez as all are out due to injuries. Esgaico will also miss this game due to suspension (red card).

The last head-to-head meeting between these sides here ended in a 2-2 draw but it was back in 2010. My prediction for the game is Tottenham to lead at the break.
