Verona vs Napoli Match Preview

Verona started with a positive result in the resumption of the Italian Serie A on Saturday. They won 2-1 over Cagliari, despite they were playing with a man less since the 35th minute after the sent off of Borini. After this outcome, Verona remained one point away from their current opponent, who occupies the last place which gives a ticket to the Europa League next season.

Except for the suspended Borini,  the injured midfielder Pessina and defender Dawidowic are not available tonight.

For Napoli, this will be their first league game after the break, as they were competing in the Copa Italia. They manage to knock-out Inter in the semi-final and after that, they won the trophy against Juventus, in the penalty shootout. 

Midfielder Lobotka and defender Macluit remain unavailable due to injuries.

With the way Verona fancy to play, I expect Napoli to have a hard time here. In the four most recent games they played at Marc'antonio Bentegodi, Verona won all of them (even the one over Juventus), scoring two or more goals. 

Nevertheless, I still consider Napoli the favorites here, undoubtedly, after the cup, they will also try to make a successful finish in Serie A. However, I do not think that their defense is reliable at all, and considering the attacking play of Verona, I expect to see at least one goal from the hosts.
