Watford vs Chelsea Match Preview

Watford has made a very bad start and with just 5 points after their first 10 games of the season, they are currently at the rock bottom of the rankings. Watford's biggest problem is that they cannot score with easy, actually, they have scored only five goals since the beginning of the season, having the worst offensive performance among the 20 teams of the Premier League. In their midweek game Watford got eliminated of the League Cup, after their 2-0 defeat to Everton, in a game that they played with a wide rotation. Cleverly, Deeney and Welbeck are still injured. Kiko, Capoue, Sarr, and Success, are doubtful as they have not been fully recovered.

After four consecutive wins in the Premier League, Chelsea reached Leicester City in the 3rd place, being two points away from the 2nd-placed Manchester City. Their 2-4 win at Burnley's was the fourth consecutive away win for the 'Blues' after their loss against Manchester United in their opening game. In their midweek task, Chelsea lost again to Manchester United away from home (1-2), in a  League Cup game. As a game with such not a big value, doth coaches have chosen to make a wide rotation in their squads. Central defender Christensen, as well as Kante and Barkley,  will not be available for tonight's match.

Watford is the only team in the Premier League having not a single win so far and things are tough for them facing a strong opponent like Chelsea, which comes from 4 consecutive away wins, having scored 3+ goals in each one. Chelsea's defense might not be the most reliable this season, but against such a weak attack, I don't think they are gonna have any problems. The away win is my call.
