West Ham vs Tottenham Match Preview

West Ham faces Tottenham for the 25th round of the English Premier League at London Stadium.

The hosts are currently in great form, coming from a big 3-0 away win over Sheffield United in the previous round. They totally dominated the pitch playing great football and deservedly got all three points, scoring 1 goal in the first half and 2 more in the second half.

West Ham has registered 6 wins, 3 draws and just 1 defeat in the last 10 rounds of the Premier League, sitting at the 5th place with a total of 42 points, aiming for a ticket to next season's European Competitions.

Tottenham suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat against league leaders Manchester City in the previous round. The visitors stoud back in the score quite early in the game, conceding the first goal at the 23rd minute. In the second half things got worse for them, as Man City found the back of the net two more times. This was their fourth defeat in the last five rounds in the Premier League. Tottenham did a good start this season, but their performance has declined in the last rounds, and currently, they are placed 9th with a total of 36 points.

In the first leg of the last 32 in the Europa League, Tottenham prevailed easily 4-1 over Wolfsberger on the road and almost secured a spot in the next stage of the competition. The second leg will take place in London next week.

West Ham is having one of their best seasons so far and is deservedly placed amongst the top sides in the table. Tottenham, on the other hand, keeps struggling in the last few rounds of the Premier League. Both sides have plenty of quality on midfield and on the attack, so this encounter could end up in a very open game, with many goals. Over 2.5 goals to be scored is my call for this one, offered at decent 1.91 odds.
